Life without internet - TISCALI ARE FUCKING USELESS CUNTS!

I have lost my internet connectivity, this has hugely affected my life in a work, social and boredom sense.

Right now I am at work, so close and yet so far.

I have a mental image of my email, unaccessable from work, slowly filling up. My important messages slowly getting lost in a sea of junk emails...

Dear god.

Tiscali bloody useless technical support have been telling me it will be working in 24 hours 5 days in a row... They always try and query my router, IT'S NOT MY FUCKING ROUTER YOU TWATS.

I think im going to cry.

I feel your pain. I was without the internet for about 2 months when I moved house. It was like losing a limb.

Although it did mean I read more books than I've ever read in my life!

I feel for you... I've lost mine a couple of times, although when mine goes down, work goes too, so it's kind of a blessing in disguise. The problem is when it comes back on, then I have to catch up on everything...

Good luck on getting it back.

"Have you tried turning it off and then back on again?"

The words uttered by 99.9% of technical help desks as they work their way down the "idiot" card.

They went through teh different lights on my router every single time, asked me to restart and re install my drivers.

I told them to fuck off, I do this kind of thing constantly and teh problem was with tehir internet line not my hardware.

The mere fact I had to argue for ten minutes to get them just to check teh line to admit it was their fault every single time I rang was an absolute nightmare, they couldnt even put a not on the account to stop me having to redo it.

Tiscali are obviously the bastard offspring of AOHell.

As a matter of interest do their telephone 'helpers' (and I do use the term loosely) talk a weird sort of GuptaEnglish?

AOLHell's are completely unintelligible these days.

My deepest sympathies on your tragic loss.

Fortunately my home internet is back up, i have however been fairly snowed under as my company is paying for me to go on ITIL, lot of work!

I shall be back to blogging soon, and they did not speak english they only made the sounds that someone had forced into their heads through repetition previously.
