Quick question

On the subject of my last post I thought I would test my readers knowledge, the first person with the correct answer wins a virtual pat on the back

There was a bear photographer who left his tent and walked a mile south. He then turned and walked a mile east and turned again and walked a mile north and found himself back at his tent. He saw a bear. What colour was the bear?

Technically speaking, a polar bear's fur isn't white; it's transparent.

The bear still appears to be white from the way light refracts...

Am I disqualified as a virtual pat?

Polar bears are rarely seen above 88 degrees, so the chances of seeing one at the North pole are slim indeed.

I am not a nerd.

How much had he had to drink? It's relevant! An Old Pretender earned his nickname by claiming to have seen a Yellow Bear on a mobile phone in the middle of Cambridge. He probably did. maybe York next year then. cheers

i don't think your compass can point to East when you are just 1 mile away from either pole.

Angry - Do you still have a large amount of spots and thick glasses?

FD - That was pretty much my thoughts when I saw this question!

Back in the day i was pretty good at getting lost with a compass map and pint in my hand, the visions usually came after something else.
