Afternoon All,

Last night I spent my evening setting up some of my Ikea specials and only after finishing the bedside cabinet did I realise that i had infact managed to put the bottom shelf in upside down. Fixing this required ripping out most of the nails on the back of the cabintet, and to be honest, after I finished mutilating it im glad it was hte back with the nails in.

Today I made yet more money on my BG. shares, im not sure when the whole thing is going to collapse though as im sure it must be overpriced by now.

Work has been the same old, got tomorrow off so I will be shifting furnature into my new place and building up the remaining flat packs ... go me!

Sarah popped round to see me last night, just to say bye, should really arrange a pissup round selby to celebrate my escape but since most of my mates are still in uni there would probably be a turnout too low to bother with. So yeah my new place is going to be right in the middle of York, it will give me easy access to reastraunts bars and pubs, not so many decent clubs but since its a train ride away from sheffield leeds manchester newcastle etc I dont forsee that being a problem.

Im fairly surprised, my new shop has just gained me SEVENTEEN WHOLE PENCE, if it wasnt for the fact that id spent £4.50 advertising it on google I would be really happy about that!

For those who havent read my previous blog - http://www.thebargainbin.co.uk - spend muchly, and if ya feelign generous just send me money, the site has dvds for upto 80% off though so its not too shoddy!

The lineup this year hasnt been released yet, there is the annual rumour of AC/DC peforming, find it pretty doubtful though! If anyone has any info please leave a comment, ild love to know what I have to look forward to this year =D

Along with the moving house another huge life changing decision has come into play, which pub wil be my new local?

a year ago this woulda been easy, Scruffies hands down, pool table cheap beer, nothing wrong. Now I have the following candidates

The Priory - Pool table, cheap booze BUT a load of townies.
The Artful Dodger - Know the staff, all kindsa people, women flashing later on BUT no pool table
The Windmill - My local after work, not much going for it! does have bullseye on the machine though! no pool table and only know one member of staff.
The Nags Head - Very Cheap, but crowded, usually a bit of trouble on saturday nights, right opposite my house though!
Brigantees - Also very close, Serves very good beer, from york breweries and forgein beers, no stuff like fosters carling etc, no hangovers in here! Downside is its f very expensive for food, and fairly expensive for drink, (Charged me 90p for a packet of crisps!)

So vote, find me a Pub!
