Quick question

On the subject of my last post I thought I would test my readers knowledge, the first person with the correct answer wins a virtual pat on the back

There was a bear photographer who left his tent and walked a mile south. He then turned and walked a mile east and turned again and walked a mile north and found himself back at his tent. He saw a bear. What colour was the bear?

Technically speaking, a polar bear's fur isn't white; it's transparent.

The bear still appears to be white from the way light refracts...

Polar bears are rarely seen above 88 degrees, so the chances of seeing one at the North pole are slim indeed.

    I am not a nerd.

  7. How much had he had to drink? It's relevant! An Old Pretender earned his nickname by claiming to have seen a Yellow Bear on a mobile phone in the middle of Cambridge. He probably did. maybe York next year then. cheers

i don't think your compass can point to East when you are just 1 mile away from either pole.

  9. Angry - Do you still have a large amount of spots and thick glasses?

FD - That was pretty much my thoughts when I saw this question!

Back in the day i was pretty good at getting lost with a compass map and pint in my hand, the visions usually came after something else.
